Default headlamps dim

My 1995 SC400 works great, but often when I hit the breaks or turn on the turn signal, the headlamp dim.

Any ideas?

Yeah, take apart your battery terminals and clean them up. It should be good to go. Pretty common on the SC. If that doesn't fix it then you may want to check the voltage of the battery. Sometimes it's the ground calbe itself that's corroded so check that too. let us know how you make out.

Wink

you definately have a voltage problem.the cables and cable ends are a good start.i have replaced a few that have a voltage drop that can cause this situation.if you can't figure it out i have a repair shop in lancaster,tx. and we specialize in Lexus and Toyota.
