Default Key programing

Hi, have a question for anyone with some knowledge to the Lexus transponder keys.

I am wondering if it is possible to program a 'Valet' key to act as a 'Master' key. Such that you could program subsequent keys from this new 'Valet' key.

I am familiar with the pedal dance method of programing keys (gas 5x, then brake 6x) and I am under the impression this registers a key as a 'Valet' (I am unsure about this). What is the procedure to regeister a new key as a 'Master' Key? I guess that it's as simple as pressing the gas 6x or brake 5x, but am unsure which it is.

I really hate that the Valet keys that come with new Lexi are unable to program a new key.

Its not easy telling people that its going to be $2,000 to replace the computer in their car because the valet key they have does nothing for them.

If anyone has any insight i'd appreciate it.

You can't program valet key to act like the master key, because the clip inside the key. The best way is to have at least 2 master keys. I don't know what year of your car and model, but the newer LS and SC you can reprogram the ECM to except the new key without master key.
In most case, if you lose all the keys, Lexus will chip in the new ECM for you and you pay just the key.
