Default Valeo alternator

I ordered an alternator from Lexus Akron in Ohio back in December for my 2017 RX350, expecting to receive a Denso. What I received was a Valeo brand. I did some googling and it said that Valeo is a brand that Toyota/Lexus uses, but to my knowledge, it's only ever been Denso. Does anyone have experience with this brand? I'm hesitant to put it into my car. The part # on the alternator matches the Lexus part #, but I'm a firm believer in using only OEM, especially electronic parts. Unfortunately, it's likely too late for me to return this alternator to them since it's been 5 months. Google said that Valeo is a world leader in alternators and are common primarily in Euro cars.

You're good. Valeo is a real OEM supplier for Toyota/Lexus, not just Denso. As long as the part number matches the Lexus number from a dealer, it's the right part. Put it in and don't worry.
