Rear Main Seal Replacement - How Much $$$?
My '92 ES300 (145K mi) has been diagnosed w/ a rear main seal leak (tranny fluid). Has anyone had this replaced, and what can I expect it to cost?

Labor, not parts, is what's going to cost you. I had the cam seals and valve cover seals replaced on my '96 last week, and the parts were around $50, while the labor was $700 or so.
Where in Ohio are you located? I'm in the Cleveland suburbs, and take my car to the dealer there (Metro).

No I had a local mechanic that I know very well and does a good job do it. I am sure that if you had it done by lexus that it would cost a bit more but i wouldnt think more than 600$
