Ball Joint Boot/Cover replacement
In the process of replacing my front Axle wheel hubs, had to take the steering knuckle off to get the old hub out (lots of corrosion, only gentle heat and a big hammer did the trick). Anyway, in the process of taking the knuckle off I've damaged the upper control arm ball joint boot and the steering link ball joint boot.
Internet seems void of a suitable replacement boot for these on the RC. They don't seem to be of the type for use with the metal clips. They seem to just be pressed into the arm at the large end of the boot. Is there anything I can do to replace these. Really don't want to get a whole upper control arm just for this, nor the steering link if i can avoid it.
Thanks
