Motor/tranny mount questions
I have a 95 sc300 and need to replace two of my motor mounts (the front ones) and my transmission mount. The one's from lexus (even at a discount) are $135 for each mount and $59 for the tranny mount. Will the supra mounts fit, or are there aftermarket options? If so, what year for the supra(i've read they're different) Also, will my shifting be improved with a new mount?
Thanks a lot

Powerhouse offer their solid mounts for $295/pair, or TRD for $240/pair.
I would phone and ask them if they will fit an SC300. I would expect they would. Armed with this knowledge, you could also try Butler Toyota for stock Supra mounts.
Also, please put this sort of question in the engine/transmission section next time...

Supra mounts will not fit you stock motor mount brackets (connecting it to the block). There is a small aligning pin on the motor mounts and the female receiving hole on the bracket. The supra motor mounts pin is too large to fit in that lexus bracket hole. (yes we're still talking cars )
Differences between the lex and supra mounts, lex is not solid, supra is. The supra mounts 93.5-97 are longer with a shorter engine bracket, and the 98 mounts are shorter with a longer bracket.
You could swap out the lex brackets for the supra ones and then use the supra mounts, however those brackets are not cheap! Might as well just replace with the lexus mounts.
