I’m still very happy with my 2022 LX600. I just got back from doing some off road trails in the San Juans. 78,000 miles and still going strong

Credit Card key is a great idea.

I hate keyless start, always have.

If I were a woman who carried a purse around it would be great but I'm not.

Got it.

I had a 22 and was spooked by the idea of an engine replacement at the dealership, so traded it in for a 24. I had 30K flawless miles on the 22.

I really wonder the chances of an engine failure on the 22s. I bet it is really low.

It's overblown, just like the GM one. Yes there should be a recall but it's not a huge amount of engines affected.

I have a buddy who bought a used Denali just like ours but a year older and it has 75k on it. Ours hasn't missed a beat and it has 35k.

We have a new 24 LX600 FSport. Zero trouble for 3000 miles. Replaced a near perfect 78k mile LX570 with it. I miss the smooth V8 and notice the multi-gear trans searching a bit but my wife drives it everyday and loves it. She could not car less about what is under the hood so its all good. I have a 24 LC500 as well and it definitely feels old-school Lexus to me. Similar to my first experiences in LS400s and SC coupes in the 90's. To survive Lexus needs to have high-volume money makers like RX and ES which will alllow them to keep offering premium models in the future. The two tier approach is he only way it survives so expectations must be set accordingly.

Just goes to show, some of us love V8 engines... and some of us don't care. You don't have to be a car freak to know and appreciate a good V8 engine offered in a car or truck.

Glad you like your truck! If the wife loves it, mission accomplished.

what symptoms did you experience with the rear gate? Did it just stop working completely?

I don't really care if it is V6 or V8 but I purchased the 570. It is just beautiful. and even pedestrians recognize it and interact with me.

Yep, those final ones were were top notch. They will always look great.

I just hate you have to sacrifice a decent amount of performance to access the best version because of that stupid 8 speed auto they dropped in it for 1 rated MPG gain.

They're kinda slow with that transmission, or considerably slower than ones with the 6speed.

I'd have to drive it but I don't think an 8 speed LX would be quick enough for my tastes, enough to trade our '14 at least.

But I love the looks and updated interior, LX570 is a special vehicle regardless.

And yes about interaction, I got a compliment at the gas station a couple weeks ago, the guy realllllly liked it. He thought it was new, or newish... his jaw about dropped when I told him it's a '14. This other guy in my Mom's neighborhood with a QX80 about drooled over my LX once when we chatted. He thought I had just paid $105,000 for it lmao. No, it's a '14 with over 100k miles. He wanted an LX like mine but had to settle for an Infiniti QX instead apparently.

Your 14 LX is the best! never sell it! You will regret if you sell it.
A few weeks ago, at a car event in Newport Beach I met a guy from Saudi Arabia. He said his Rolls Royce Ghost is already leaking oil at 26k miles. When he saw my car, he said "this is the best car in Dubai. We modify it, take it off-road and after 300 thousand miles it still drives like new. You should never ever sell it. otherwise you will regret. They don't make it anymore. Don't sell it and in 10 years you will thank me!"
this is just one testimony of how great the 570 is.
