I do see what you are saying and its a pot shot with the gas and rarely i get good gas and often times not. I have had 3 cars picky like that; 2015 3.5 ecoboost f150 (93 oct tune fixed it), 6.2 gas f250 after it was worn well, lx600. My tuned 750hp S63 is less picky than the lx.
I am getting a programmer and going to work extensively with them to address some issues like this. It still hasn’t arrived yet.
On the diesel variant 300 the tuners have been raising the rpms 75-100rpm. Maybe something similar is needed.
I am also doing shifting math off a 3.31 5.0 F150, because it lets you see what gear its in if you set it that way. All things equal, the LX should be shifting into first by 7.25-7.5mph. I think my exact math was 7.44 with a 32.5” tall tire on the LX. The LX currently shifts into first between 3-4mph and has a delay if power is demanded (needed).
I also have a 700OT coming in soon but actually kinda want to keep this Onyx Black 600 if I can sort it out. I like the analog gauges and lack of massaging seats.
If the 700 doesn’t get jittery under mild acceleration I will probably be forced to get it as I have had rider complaints about this in the 600 and it bothers me as well. I watched a review thar said the 25s do not have that issue.
I feel there is a derate tune on the transmission, software/hardware issue, or torque converter mismatch. I also have a suspicion the oils used are too thin, they do this in the engine to get mpg. The Australian and GCC manual recommends 5-30 and the youtube videos discuss getting the American factory fill 0-20 out asap.
I rented a Sequioa Hybrid in Guatemala and I’ve been driving it around for a week. Transmission tuning is much better and there’s almost no vibrations. Not sure what the heck they did with the LX600 powertrain. I am guessing LX700 will be the one to buy.
If I wanted mpg I would have got a Prius lol....Lexus has gone nuts to mess up the 600. I don't like the hybrid on the land cruiser either so the 700h also is not.a choice. It sounds like a tractor...it's smooth when it's running just in battery, Mrs loves the land cruiser though. I feel I made a mistake trading in the 570 it was built like a tank....this feels delicate...in the touch less car wash am scared the blower will bend that front hood in...lol..
I have a 2025 Premium trim and having the same issue. Submitted an online case to Lexus and after almost a week, they replied saying to contact dealer. They didn’t say if this is normal or not. I felt the tremor/vibration at stops from day one. I followed the break in process as outlined in the manual hoping the issue would go away after I put some miles on it. Well now at a little over 600 miles, it’s the as same as when it was 20 miles. Disappointing that their top of line model would do this. I have a RC 350 and a Sienna with approximately 165K miles and does not exhibit this.
When does your 25 shift into 1st? When rolling to a stop push the shifter handle left into M mode and it should tell you what gear its in.
Also does it jitter when mildly accelerating over decent (not tore up not glass smooth) pavement? Especially around shift points.
Test it out today…gear change to 1st about a second before the car comes to a complete stop. I did notice the vibration/tremor is lighter today, almost at an acceptable level.
I switched to 5w-30 and it almost completely remedied my vibrations. If you live up north maybe 0w-30?
If you can DIY just drop the oil and it takes ~7 quarts. Walmart home delivery, 2 5 quart jugs of Mobile1 5w-30 guaranteed for 10,000 mile stuff. Like $50.
I am pretty convinced they are having some machining issues and the ones that vibrate or stutter need thicker oil.
I may even run 0W-40 or 5w-40.
Oh and I had to re-register as it wouldn’t let me reset my password…. Not like I am on here often. Similar name.
Here is the GCC manual if you don’t believe me:
Australian is similar but doesn’t list both engines, GCC is handy as it calls out the LX600 motor.
Going to do the transmission and Tcase to something less environmentally friendly as well soon.
Anything else yall want me to experiment with?

Yeah I am close by. I would change it a little early and not look back. If we are having the same issue it smooths it out quite a bit. It was driving me nuts.
I am posting all this up for reference. I started playing with ChatGPT on this.
There is three 30 weight oils in mobile 1 I looked at and the 0w-30 European Car Formula has more viscosity then the 5w-30 and 0w-30 Advanced Fuel Economy.
The additive package in the 0w-30 European formula is pretty stout but it doesn’t meet Toyota’s GF-6A spec (probably because its a better oil not focused on MPG). But that particular oil does meet API- SN Plus so it would meet the GCC manual required spec.
The 5w-30 does meet the US toyota spec though and thats what I am running.
Was researching it and I may even go to the European 0W-30 or 0w-40 next change. I am less concerned about the warranty.
I run the 0w-40 in a tuned 750hp Mercedes and it is great. Meeting Porsche A40, MB 229.5, and BMW LL-01 is as good as it gets and the 0w-40 gets you there.
