Default Alignment slightly off on new LX570's . Per lexus Tech

Ive noticed I have to hold my steering wheel slightly to the right to go straight , If i hold it straight itll go left. Now this is on a brand new LX570 with 45 miles on it. I test drove a used one before I purchased this brand new one and I noticed this as well and pointed it out to the sales man who said it might need a alignment. A good friend has a 2016 with 22K on it and he says his is the same way. I ended up speaking with a good friend who s a Tech at lexus and he said all LX570 do this and it common. So I took it back to the lexus and they put it on the alignment rack and showed me that the alignment was perfect. Anyone else have this issue ?

Tire alignment and steering wheel position are, obviously, two separate issues. Sounds like you've got either a lazy tech or or service manager...not to mention a salesman who doesn't know excrement from shoe polish.

Get it on an alignment rack with the front wheels pointing straight ahead...then simply move each tie rod end in the same direction until the steering wheel is centered. Since your tech is moving both tie rods in the same direction, alignment will not change, but steering wheel position will change.

I'd do this with the engine at idle, as VGRS may disengage gearing if the engine is not running.

Hth and report back when fixed.

In my area they always set the alignment up to offset the crowning of the roads. If the roadway has a crown and the alignment is neutral you will be constantly fighting the pull to the shoulder so they set them up to drive straight on crowned roads. I would check to see that this is not the case before you get aggressive with your service tech.
