Big fan of that Wald kit. I wouldn't lower it and mess with the very well designed stock LX suspension. I'd just get slightly smaller diameter wheels and put all-terrain tires on it. Would look mean.

Tagmotorsports in Socal has done one of these already, I believe. Saw it on 405. Ridiculous.

Have you done any engine performance modifications. and if so how are they working out? Also, any interior work? Have you maxed out the window tint as much as your state allows. or is that on the to-do list? Good to see you lost the front license plate.

Any chance of a kid getting in or out being burned from the new exhaust tip placement, or is it recessed enough under the running board?

Are you still running the stock brake calipers under the new wheels? Some nice cross drilled rotors with black Brembo calipers would look nice.

Post some interior and engine pictures when you can, please.

The local police department's revenue enhancement division will be thrilled.

Illinois law requires a front plate...imo a very easy and stupid way to get stopped when you least expect it.

Boy for a guy that doesn't even own a LX570 you sure have a lot of opinions on others. You didn't comment on the ARB bumpered LX not having a plate but I guess that's okay?

Gordj, sorry if my comment rubbed you the wrong way...you know the old saying about "opinions".

I don't own an LX, other than a 470...it's also required to have a front plate. My Land Cruiser has the same requirement, as does any other vehicle in my state. Not having a series 200 LX seems, to me, to be immaterial.

Thanks for your post and have a good weekend.

I don't know if clear tail lights are available for your year LX, but I think they'd look great as a future mod for you.

Bought the kit from Wald USA out in california. The fitment, according to the body shop, was not perfect but very close.

Just a KN drop in so far. Thinking about the TRD/Magnusson supercharger kit.

The exhaust does stick a little bit outside of the running board. Ive instructed my little one to stand on the board and jump over the "Hot Lava"

Still stock brakes, Ive had brembos on other cars and they do not reduce stopping distance by any means. Only good for reducing brake fade on multiple stops.
