Got the letter today about the recall & states they are working on a remedy. Also says will notify via another letter to schedule with a dealer to fix it free of charge.
Mine is a 2018 LX.

Location has nothing to do with who's first...Toyota already announced they're doing it by the VIN.

I received the same letter today (2016 LX). I don't know why they waste paper and money for sending such letters saying just "there is no change". Maybe some laws. I am quite angry as I am scheduled for a regular 40k service next week and it looks that I will have to go there again just for the recall.

I just took a similar letter out of the mailbox...not sure when the "we're done" memo, but a service check a week or so ago at Toyota store indicated no issues with current passenger seatbelt system is working OK.

I just got scheduled for my 16 LX for next week. My dealer informed me that would be a day and half job and arranged loaner as well. Also specifically asked me to have the car in low or near empty tank because as a Lexus curtsy, they will provide a tank of gas when job is done.

Anyway, I couldn't imagine it will take a day and half to do it, maybe just a backlog issue and don't want to anyone to wait around.

On a related subject, my 14 GX also got recall notice for the passage side of airbag (about inflator). It was scheduled for the first week of March, and same a day of half and asked to bring the car in with empty tank.

So i just took my LX to my Lexus Dealer and they said they still don't see any remedy in the system for this recall. I guess east coast will wait for now...LX is 2013 and I live in Northern Virginia (DC Metro Area).
