No L-Certified LX
Anyone notice that there has been a serious lack of L-Certified LX570's on Autotrader? I thought maybe dealers just decided not to advertise them on AT, so I looked on Lexus.com and sure enough there are none listed. Is this typical? I've always been able to pull anywhere between 30-60 L-Certified LX570s on AT, but I've only seen one as of late.

Just a bit more...
Hi Jayson - No its not normal. Currently there is a recall on LX570 due to air bag issue. They said they will be able to come up with the solution by mid Feb. Until the recall is done and all the vehicle are fixed, there won't be any L certified LX in the market. The moment the recall came, the L certification went away and won't be available until they can fix the vehicle.

Looks like newer trucks get done first, with earlier model years to follow.

I was told yesterday that some LX's are now able to be certified. They are actively working on clearing a certain range of VIN's, so if a used LX is within the range and has been recalled successfully, it can be certified. Should start seeing more certified LX.
