Here is our new Bestie .... the Eminent White Pearl is amazing...fully loaded with Cabernet interior.
I was surprised what a big difference it was to our 2015...the seats / leather / etc.
Love it!

WOW!!! THIS SUV LOOKS VERY STATELY AND REALLY SHOWS THAT THE BOSS IS HERE!!! The color is better than my STARFIRE PEARL.

I'm itching to replace my 2013 LX570, but our LX570 IS still practically new at some 32xxx miles! (We got it with something like 12 miles new on the odo).

CONGRATS AND ENJOY!!!!

Ohhh...Many thanks...True...Our '15 LX was Starfire and this is soooo Pearl....
Michelle wore her pearls when we picked her up!

FYI - every year around Monterey car week (Pebble Beach Concours / Quail / etc etc) LEXUS provides a fleet of LX's to shuffle around VIP's.
The car are then 'sold' back to local dealers.
They sell them as new with around 200 miles on the odo.
The dealers deal on them....Stevens Creek LEXUS has three at last count.
They'll take off $14,000 to start....
We got ours at Seaside LEXUS for $15,500 off cash...if you use the LEXUS financing you can no doubt do much better.

xfea you obviously have a lot of experience with the LX 570. Do you feel that $ 76,000.00 for a 2017 with 10,600 miles LX certified on it is a good deal ?

Personally I am starting to wonder if I would be better off trying to negotiate on a new 2018 for $ 15,000.00 off MSRP.

The other question I have for you is how did you make your decision to chose the LX 570 over the ford raptor ? Was it a hard decision, and how did you compare the two trucks ?

Ftcgsf,

Don't know about the dealers in your area.
Looking on these forums it looks like $10k plus is easy and doable.
My Michelle has know Joe Hart for over 20 years.
He's the fleet manager / master certified LEXUS guy at Steven Creek LEXUS in California.

His first and best offer to Michelle was $15,008 off MSRP....it was for the Nebula Grey / Cabernet with $100,220 MSRP.
(see attached)

We decided for the Eminent White / Cabernet that was at Seaside LEXUS about an hour down the coast...Same price.

Don't know what makes sense for you...though I did fly to Miami from SFO to pick up my 2014 LS460 F-Sport...Had Stone crab at Joe's with a couple of bottles of pink champagne and had a hella drive back...

$84 new totally loaded 2018 vs $76 used 2017? ...I'd go (and did) for the 2018.

Not sure what changes there are '17 to '18, but I do know that '18 v '19 has the puddle lamps and convex starter button (gonna see if I can get that '19 LEXUS logo lighting my way when I open my door!)

As for Raptor....I thought I'd be a bit of a midlife crisis truck....I'd never go flying over the sands at 100 mph (but I DO have niffty photos of my LS on the Bonneville Salt flats ... going through the mile 5 marker tapped out ;-)
I don't need the utility of a pickup - and the lux of the LX - the over all experience not much of a decision.

And the towing capacity is 5,000 lbs if I remember - one of our boats is around 8,500 lbs. (The LX 570 WAS rated at 8,500 up until a few years ago, the towing is short distance ....Beastie makes it feel easy!)

Check inventory and get on the phone - the '18's are going...away!

You can definitely get $14K+ off MSRP right now. We were shopping and had several new 2018s w/ $98-100K MSRP offers from dealerships in the $84-86K range depending on options.

We ended up getting greedy and going $20K off MSRP w/ a used 2018, late delivery (12/2017), 14K miles, $80K. MSRP was over $99K, came with every book/window sticker/records, etc. Previous owner is local, car doesn't have a scratch inside or out. Pretty sure he never used 3rd row or cargo area...and didn't even remove the big sticker labels everywhere or unwrap the headphones.

We weren't shopping used, and I'm a picky SOB when it comes to used vehicles - so when we purchase used I'm definitely under the hood, checking for overspray/respray/disassembly marks (AKA repairs), under the rig checking for mud, scrapes (hard driving, off road use), door dings, scratched handles, etc. And overall condition of course (worn out buttons, scratched consoles, steering wheels)...you name it. Psycho for sure. But in this case it was mint condition and a great savings.

FYI you can retrofit logo puddle lamps easy - many OEM and aftermarket options for your various vehicles. The puddle lamps under the doors and/or under the mirrors are the most common ones. I personally hate the logos, I'm fixin to take out our Range Rover logos for plain lamps.

Joe et al:

What do you think is the best lease deal a person could get right now on a 3 Row, 2018 LX570, 3 years, 12k miles per year? I’m near Nashville, TN. There is a 2018 Satin Cashmere Metallic LX570 three row at Lexus of Memphis. Just curious as to the numbers I should aim for and hold to. I’m considering leasing over buying as I’m not sure I want to keep the vehicle long-term. I’ve had a few LX470’s, a GX460 and GX470, and Land Cruisers (80’s and a 100 series). I am driving a 2018 Sequoia Platinum at present. Thanks in advance for any info / advice!

The only thing I'd notice is almost a perfect apples-to-oranges comparison.
