Default 2018 or 2019 LX w/ 21’s (Tires?)

Has anyone heard about any manufacture making a 21” All Terain? I know Lexus, Audi and Land Rover introduced the size, so I’m sure it’s a matter of time. Curious if anyone had heard anything. Waiting on my ‘19 LX 3-Row with 21’s to come off the boat anyday.

Thank You!!

I'm not aware of an all-terrain tire for 21" wheels...a quick visit to tire rack or similar should get you what you need. In my case, I switched over to 18" wheels...more sidewall = a lot more comfortable ride off and on the road, plus the advantage of tons of tires from which to pick.

Hi Hankinid, I want to do the same (move to 18" rims/tires as soon as these Michelins need replacing. I'm curios what rims and tires you went with and and how they look. Might you be able to share a pic?

Is the ride really that much better/quieter?

Also, how is the handling? I have heard that moving to 18s makes the truck less "darty" - if that makes any sense?

Warmer weather rims are oem '13 aluminum 5-spoke...tires are Toyo AT II's 275/75, load rated "E", 10 ply. Ride is more comfortable on paved roads and great over dirt and rocks, especially when aired down to 25 psi. Handling is better, but consider it's still a 3 ton truck with a full tank, wife, and 2 dogs.

Winter rims are 0-mile new Tundra take-off steely's. Local Toyota/Lexus dealer had them and they're not particularly hard to find. Cost was $100 for the 4 with lug nuts, hub caps, and TPMS senders. Tires are Blizzaks in the winter...265/60, passenger car rated. They're bulletproof in cruddy weather, the "best" are studded tires but not enough standing ice to worry...pro-tip is to drive gently and politely on bad roads...drive like you do in the summer and it's not a matter of "if", but "when". The Blizzaks provide better traction than I've got courage.

"How they look"...just like a 2014 Tundra with the most basic wheels. Looks don't matter as the minute you finish detailing you'll see snow in a day or 3...add that we're in a rural area with a few dairys close and a lot of poo on the ground. I may wash it once a month in the winter but that's it.

Just to confirm, Tundra/Sequioa 18" rims, correct? If you have a pic would be appreciative - it's more how the tire/rim looks on the 4WD

Thanks!

My wheels are from a Tundra, though Sequoia rims will work. You need a rim with 5 holes for 14mm studs on a 150mm bolt center diameter. Be aware that lug nuts are different between an aluminum and a steel wheel, as are tightening torque numbers. No pics at this time as Blizzaks on steel wheels are in the barn...they'll go on around November.

You can also use Land Cruiser 18" wheels:

And this is LX with winter tires and Tundra wheels:

Gents, thanks, interestingly, was at the dealership today (recall on another vehicle) and saw these LandCruiser rims.

ClaytonW can you comment on the ride/handling w the 18" vs OEM? Surprisingly I feel the ride of the 20" is not all that bad - BUT not as smooth as my LX470 w 16" rims (yes, the handling on the 20s is better). Biggest issue is that the 20s really don't air down "well" - not enough volume.
