rubber molding under factory roof rack???
Hello all. Tried searching, but to no avail. I have a 2013 LX 570. Love the vehicle, but have to admit taking her through multiple mechanical car washes since I live in Florida and love bug season is just too brutal to keep trying to hand wash all the time.
Anyhow, I was up looking at the roof to tote a kayak this weekend and noticed that some of the rubber molding strips in the channel under the side rails of the roof rack are now missing. it looks like it is just a rubber piece to prevent water from standing in the channel. Does anyone know if these are just cosmetic? Or do I need to worry about getting these replaced? Again, these are rubber trim pieces in the roof that run along each side of the roof in a channel directly under the factory roof rack's side rails (sorry, no pic).
Anyone else had these come off/lost? Any idea how to order the part? I am out of warranty now too. Thanks in advance for any input. Mike

I'm not certain if it is only cosmetic (my guess is yes).
I've gone through a few of them - I remember seeing one fly off in the blow dry end of the self serve touchless car wash.
Another just went missing in action.

A few of mine flew off in the car wash, as well.
The diagram above is correct; I've replaced a few of mine (2015 LX570), using the above part numbers.
By the way, I replaced one of the the little clips (# 4 in the diagram) using part # 76561-60030).

The rubber pieces are trim only...they're not designed to seal out water.
