Cargo box on OEM crossbars
I have a 2016 LX570 with the OEM crossbars. The crossbars came installed on the further back set of holes, but the spacing is to too large for the Thule cargo box. Is it okay to move the rear crossbar to the front set of holes to mount the crossbar?

Perfectly OK...that's what the wing bolt things at the ends of the crossbar are for. Locate the cargo box to make loading and unloading easiest.

i am curious as well, i was thinking of picking up the oem roof bars; i have a thule motion XT box which i was hoping to use with the oem bar. i would the claws of the Thule should clear because the 2016+ oem roof bars sit little higher than the pre 2016s
