It has already been said that the 2019 LX and Land Cruiser will remain true to the 5.7 V8 just with minor tweaks to squeeze a few more horses out of it. What I truly don’t understand is why they won’t just factory supercharge them. We’ve seen the TRD supercharger perform wonders on the 5.7 with almost identical reliability to 100k miles and to be honest if you’re planning on keeping the vehicle to 100k miles you’re getting an extended services plan that surpasses that mile marker.

Toyota notes 250K or 15 years of reliability, assuming you follow the book on maintenance.

An extended service plan will cover oem equipment, so obviously not a supercharger.

you didn't read my post very well, I am saying IF they offered a supercharged 5.7 from the factory to keep up with the likes of the Range Rover and G63. THEN and extended services plan WOULD cover a supercharger, obviously.
