Just picked up my black beauty yesterday. 2015 LX570 Black/Black 27K miles, Lexus Certified loaded with all options. CPO Warranty through 9/20 and bought 3 additional years (Lexus Platinum) for $600 + 2 years service (4 services) for <$60K.
Drove 5 hours (0 around me except $75K+ 2016+'s), traded 2015 Honda Pilot, drove 5 hours back. Love it so far, even my morning/evening commute was easier as everybody just avoids the BB. Reading the manual to figure out the easy stuff (Nav won't switch to night DUH dimmer on HIGH, switching door grab to unlock all doors in menu, finding button for cameras DUH hidden behind stalk, cubby for stuff at left leg etc..). FWIW got 17MPG going 75-85 for 5 hours and pilot only got 18-19 going there same speed from 3.6L V6 and 2K pounds lighter.
Making an appointment for window tinting and taking to my detailer to give it a full cleaning (wasn't thrilled with cleanliness from dealer but never see them again) and grabbed a all weather cargo mat from lexuspartsnow and a Cold Box tray from Amazon.
Any other immediate tips/tricks (saw the use 4Lo, so I'll do that this weekend) I need to do/getdone/whatever?

I just upgraded from a 2010 LX to a 2017 LX (a few months ago). I drive a lot in L.A. traffic. There are days where I could easily spend 4-6 hours on the road in traffic going to various meetings. You just can't beat the comfort, quiet, luxury, visibility and technology of the LX. Its basically it's own isolated environment. Enjoy your new LX

Took me a few days to figure a few things out (Pandora, Rear Door Opening...battery low on fob), so here are a couple quick pics. Low sun prevented more, just starbursts on the recently detailed exterior. In the bottom rear door on the right is tools, and the left has the pouch with wheel locks, but what's supposed to take up the left portion of the bottom rear door?

My 200 has a few road flares in the left side tool box, and an S&W Model 29.

Going to get a waxed canvas bag made for the space (21X12X2) to throw some stuff in as well.

How and where did you get it waxed?

Local Lexus dealer Ultimate Detail $249. Other than a few spots (i.e. grab handles) I needed to go back and scrub with fantastic, it's about as factory clean as one could get. Going to hit some of the black exterior plastic trim (i.e. floorboards) with 303, but overall very happy.
