I’ve ordered the same set as yours from amazon.
i had installed the streetglow led bulbs but had to remove the dust cap to make them fit
in the housing.
Your bulbs look smaller and should fit in the housing.
How long did your bulbs take for delivery?I’m getting excited to change all 3 bulbs!

The LED emitters get very hot but they are only a small area and in the center of the light fixture! But yes, because of the fan and aluminum heat sink a LED runs cooler overall than a halogen or HID light.

There are easy and helpful videos on changing the bulbs at carcarekiosk.com.

You can upgrade your rear backup lights also for $12 (improves quality of image at night) if you haven't already!

Do they really make a big difference?

The instructions for changing the rear backup lights is in the user manual under "Do it yourself maintenance". It's easy, about 20-30 minutes doing it the first time.

I have a question. So I got the high beam LED's installed, but I have noticed there no longer is a day-time running light affect. Is this normal or have I done something wrong?

Normal, some brands have this capability - I seem to recall reading a 200 series Land Cruiser owner saying IPF has it.

Strange, my 2011 with Hikari CREE bulbs work as DRLs just fine.

That is curious . I used the Hikari ones listed here , but no DRL. Not a big deal as I love them, I was just curious about it.

DRL's not working on my 2008 as well with this setup. They flashed every once in a while so I just disconnected that thing on the passenger side fender.

I finally found time to install the set of above led bulbs.
it took longer than I expected and not as easy as described.
The left side of engine is a pain to deal with coz of the battery.
Anyway, I installed the backup reverse lights...just be aware that after removing the bolts one has to pry
open the cover ....luckily I had a prying tool to work with . Swapping the bulbs was the easy part!
I also changed the parking lights with some difficulty coz of the tight spaces and stiff counterclockwise motion.
Low beam bulbs no problem on the right side and left side with great difficulty.
The high beam and parking light work needed the battery to be removed....space definitely needed
here to work on these bulbs. Left parka light changed with minimal difficulty but I FAILED to install the high
beam led bulb coz, despite applying significant force, it would not go in all the to make it possible to secure it with the counterclockwise motion. After several attempts I gave up. I may have to take it to professional guy
to install the high beam bulbs.
I spent almost 2 hours on all this with a lot of patience...lol.
PS: That battery is pretty heavy...not good for my back! It appears the H11 low beam lights are not as good as my
previous streetglow led lights. I may go back to the low beam streetglow led lights.
Work is still in progress!

I reverted to my original low beam LED lights from streetglow as they are brighter than the Hikari led's.
http://streetglowdirect.com/Generate/outputEven though the specs have them both listed at 6000lms each bulb the streetglow are better lit. The only issue is the streetglow
bulbs are longer and , therefore, the dust caps won't fit.
The high beam Hikari work very well. These ( reverse back up bulbs are great , too:

At the moment I'm pleased with my lights set up.

I did this upgrade Friday and got to test them out last night. Big improvement over my stock lights on all accounts. The battery does make it more difficult to change the drivers side bulbs. Once I figured out how to set the new lights so they don"t spin I was able to get them locked in and in the correct orientation. The only real problem I had is the lens for one of the Phillips bulbs came off and dropped inside the headlight housing. Tried to retrieve it with some Gorilla tape and a wire but it fell were I couldn't get to it. I can't see any difference in comparison to the drivers side. Thanks for the information. I'm getting a lot of god ideas from this forum since I bought my LX in August.
