OMG! So I have finally joined the LX club. I did away with my 2009 GX470 and have graduated up to a 2011 LX570. She is Claret Mica (I think it's called). She is gorgeous. This is my favorite car color so I am super stoked to have it on an LX.
Thanks for looking.

Thanks, guys! I have wanted an LX for so long--especially a red one--so I am so happy to finally have one.
As for previous owner, I believe it was just 1 owner. They took pretty good care of it. The interior is in really good condition. It was an Arizona car, so I'm glad she has never seen snow. She will get plenty of that here in Utah.

I have one of each, and I like them both for what they are, and I'd still take EITHER over any other truck. But the GX feels far more nimble and more responsive, not so ponderously heavy, I like the way the throttle, transmission, and brakes modulate just perfectly for a truck, and better than the LX. For me, I also like that the GX seems to have a taller door, which makes getting in and out just a tiny bit more comfortable. The GX to me still has more of the old-school Toyota-ness that Toyota and Lexus vehicles seem to be losing with each new generation. If you don't know what I mean by this latter then it wouldn't be a factor for you, but it's a significant characteristic for me, even if it's hard to explain. The GX gets a bit better mileage but that's just a fringe benefit. It's a combination of the other things that makes me pick the GX more than half the time when they are both sitting there ready to go. And all this is for the GX 470 only. I can't find much interest in the GX 460. I've test-driven them several times but they just feel like a Nissan to me.
