Default 2014 LX570 Pricing Advice

I am very close to buying a 2014 LX570, but want to make sure I am getting a good deal.

It is being sold by a non-lexus dealer (Infiniti) and they bought it from a wholesaler.
The LX was previously on the market by my local Lexus dealer as a CPO, but they unloaded it to a wholesaler after not being able to sell it for 60 days (they had it at 57k).
By the time I saw it on their lot, they already sold it.
It is a 1-owner 3 year lease return.
No accidents.
All factory maintenance performed.
Tires were replaced at 30,000 miles.
Overall condition is clean, no signs of rust except for the hinge connecting the rear tailgate to the rear end.

2014 LX570 (Starfire Pearl w/ parchment)
Luxury Package, Mark Levinson, Park Assist, Rear DVD
(missing wireless headphones & all weather mats)
Remaining factory warranty expires in December 2017.
No accidents
36,450 miles
Current Price: $51,000

Good deal or fair market value?

Internet is your friend. Plug in all the data into NADA, KBB, Edmunds, Black Book and whatever else. Then you'll have an idea about how good/bad it is. When it comes to buying, a good deal is whatever you are happy with. For some here it is list/MSRP price, for others $15k off

I think that is a very good price. I just purchased a 2014 with 50,000 miles for around $47,000 out the door. It’s in extremely good condition. Yours sounds like the one I purchased but with a lot fewer miles.

Thanks Airbus, that confirms what I have been seeing price wise for used 2014 LXs, but I have only been watching the market for the past 90 days.

I honestly would have sat a little longer on this one to see if I could get 500-1000 less but I am afraid the dealer was going to sell it to a wholesaler to cut their losses.

I will never know what they paid, but they told me they bought it from the wholesaler themselves for 51,100 which is hard to believe considering they agreeing to sell it for 51,000 even (granted I will be paying them a non-negotiable dealer doc fee of 370).

But, then again they originally were trying to sell it for 57k.

Hard to get around those DOC fees the dealer wants. I always have an out the door price that I write down before I go in to deal on a vehicle. This is tax, tag, title, and any dealer fees. I always tell the dealer they have two shots with me. First, give me their best price, I will then gone them my OTD price and they will have one last shot. After that, I’m out the door and headed to my next pick.

When I purchased mine, I had three or four other vehicles that were similar in mileage and price so I was not to invested in the one I really wanted. I ended up getting my second choice but it was only the color that was different.

Good price. When I search, I simply go to Autotrader and sort price low to high. Then, I eliminate any car that was sold at an auction (red flag when a Lexus dealer especially sells a 570 at auction instead of themselves), bad carfax, cars owned/serviced in NYC/Chicago etc (harder miles for same price), multiple owners (not at this price range), and cars with no maintenance history on Lexus.com. Since the LXs with ML/Coolbox go for about the same price as those without, that's also something I looked for. I ended up going from Maryland to Connecticut for mine. I paid 56,500 in May of 2016 for a 1 owner, L/Certified one with 28,000 miles, all routine maintenance done, and warranty until 2019.

Chocolate,

You got a deal for sure. That would have been a good deal even if it wasn't a CPO. I just got back from the dealership. I gave them a deposit and will be closing the deal later this week.
