Just trying to point out that regular v. premium, based on OPs statement that he hasn't used regular, is interesting but irrelevant.
So given OPs use of only premium fuel, what's your take on what's happening with his truck?

Apology accepted!
My take is that its somewhere in the required time as Lexus flat out states that the stated 0-60 time of 7.3 seconds is with prototype LX models using professional drivers, special procedures and premium 91 or higher. So the real performance spec is somewhere between 7.3 and 9 seconds.
Truthfully, this sounds like an I am using regular fuel situation that calls for premium. But it is the internet, so I guess I have to take the word that the OP is really using premium. Perhaps he should bump the octane up to 94.
Sorry you felt the post "rude"...I've edited it.

So how many HP on your Toyota 4Runner if you use REG fuel? Is it more than, say 25% less?
Some Toyota cars run fine with regular. The LX makes 383 whereas the LC makes 381. My 4Runner does not make the advertised 235hp from the 4.7 while using regular fuel. This is fact. It needs premium to achieve the 235 HP rating in 2004.
Kinda rude. Trying to just help.

At most premium would gain a few extra horsepower, not enough to change the 0-60 by even a quarter of a second.

Below is a video of 9.38 seconds. Like I said earlier, 7.3 is not really attainable for this vehicle.

Lexus shows 2 more horsepower for the 5.9 engine than Land Cruiser and Tundra, the truck for which the engine was originally designed. The 2 hp increase is something definitely not something you can feel via the seat of your pants. The ECU will adjust for octane differences...LXs and Cruisers in South America are lucky to get 87 octane, and they're not turtles by any means.
Read the first post in this thread. It sounds to me like OP has more going on than we know, and why keep posting what-ifs if dealer hasn't formed an opinion as to the cause of the issue(s).
OP, sorry for the massive thread hijack...maybe better to keep on topic.
Apologies to the OP for the thread-jacking.

LC500 looks pretty sexy and obsessive at this time, and rumor that they will come out LC-F with SC. That is where I will put my monies in, not my 3-ton truck.
But let's not hijack the thread. Sorry for hijacking the thread.

Oh well, I hope the OP has good luck in figuring it all out.

Huh??
Maybe I should just do a race 0 to 60 between my LX570 and my CT200h and see which one is faster as I got both? I got a feeling that my LX570 is a lot faster than my CT200h.

I don't think so. I have provided enough evidence that the LX570 is much slower in real world conditions than the claimed 7.3 time reported at Lexus.com Looks like the LX is a 9.0 second vehicle to based on the video that you seemed to just dismiss.

Our 17 LX is incredibly slow and sluggish as well. We bought it at the end of January, and it has been that way ever since. I just assumed thats how all of them are. It is so slow and sluggish that I have to make a conscious effort to not pull out in front of most traffic I would with our Range Rover Sport....or any of our other vehicles for that matter.
Maybe Ill bring this up next time I am in for service and see if they have any software updates. In my opinion, the vehicle is dangerously sluggish and slow. Other than that, its the perfect family vehicle.
