I am happy with them - not noisy, offroad capable, comfortable, not bad even on snow. But I use different size 275/65/R18 - much better for offroading.

That hasn't been my experience. I have 18's on my LC and 20's on the LX and I don't notice any difference off road. I don't off road as a hobby but when I am in the bush fishing or hunting I haven't found any difference. Obviously these aren't rock crawlers but for the terrain the AT2's are designed for I can't see a difference. Maybe our trails in British Columbia are tamer than where you go?

20" is probably O.K. if you do not have off-roading as a hobby. It can get you where you need. I don't think that there is a big traction difference with fully inflated tires. 275/65/R18 will be probably slightly better in mud, sand or on rocks but just a little bit. But more rubber means a better protection for tires/wheels, especially when rock crawling. Also, higher profile tires can be quite safely deflated (275/65/R18 can be safely deflated to about 20 psi) and then you get much better traction, that's the difference.
