Used 2017 LX570 value.
I saw a white 2017 Lexus LX570 with 8500 miles, Luxury package, burgundy interior at non lexus dealer. They are asking no haggle price of $84,500. I have two questions.
In your opinion what is a good deal on this car?
What do you think the trade in value of my 2013 LX570 with 27,000 miles all options except the Radar Cruise in excellent condition, KBB came out with 45K, I feel it is a bit low.
I appreciate your input as I am seriously considering this transaction.

From what I've seen in recent searches around the midwest, most dealers are marking down NEW '17 LX's with a $98k MSRP to ~$90k. Given that this one is only $5k less with 8500 miles and NOT certified, I'd see if they can get you a price in the high $70's or walk. 2 years of extra warranty with unlimited miles is something that shouldn't be overlooked IMHO, even with a brand that has been known for reliability.

Great example right there. Hopefully It's in good condition and the Carfax checks out ok.

True, however it is 2016 model. I have seen locally 2017 at the dealership with the same spec for around $91,000 new, they call it special price, however it is not the color that I desire.

FWIW... I ended up buying a brand new '17 (earlier this year) at a very aggressive price. I did look closely at other options, including an identical '16 with 5k miles (firm at $84k at the time) and a new leftover '16 (which appears to be available still http://www.haldemanlexusofprinceton....-NJ/2834002363).
I would have taken either one of the '16s for the right price (i.e., maybe 78 or 79k for the 5k-miler and perhaps 84k or so for the new leftover on the '16s), but the sellers were somewhat inflexible, and paying a few k more for a brand new 2017 all of a sudden made perfect sense.

There is nothing in life that is non-negotiable. I agree with the comments and have I have seen that used cars, CPO, etc. all have a mark-up to handle the "built-in" negotiation that the dealers have come to expect.
