2010 LX570 Smart key/fob replacement
All, first post. I recently purchased a 2010 LX570; came from an LX450, and I truly love the lx570 so far.
Question I have for everyone is that mine came with only one fob, and I'd like to buy a replacement for a spare; where do you buy from? Dealer? From the dealer I was quoted approx. $2xx.xx + $60-ish for the programming. Do I try my luck buying online for 1/2 price, and have Lexus program it? If so, is there a specific, reputable vendor? What's the part number I need?

I think some high tech locksmith might be able to do it cheaper, but you may run the risk of him or his people coming back for your LX?
Also I believe there is a maximum number of "fobs" one can program before the whole system locks out. So I wonder if the high tech locksmith fails one or two tries, will the failed attempts count against the maximum number of programs?
Lexus dealer may be the safest way to go.
