Default 2011 LX570 on BFG 275/60R20 K02s

After going through as many of the off-road tire threads as I could, I settled on the 275/60R20 BFG K02s for my 2011 LX570. These are replacing Michelin Latitudes in the stock 285/50R20 size at about 4/32s tread depth remaining. Here is what I can report (just my personal experience).

No rubbing that I could hear or feel on the highway or neighborhood roads during normal driving in any height mode.

Rubbing with the steering wheel turned to the stops as follows:

High height; Wheel turned all the way left:

FL: slight rub on mud flap
FR: clears front wheel well by about a 2cm

High height; Wheel turned all the way right:

FL: clears front wheel well by about 2cm
FR: slight rub on mud flap

Normal height; Wheel turned all the way left:

FL: clears mud flap by about a millimeter
FR: clears front wheel well by about 2cm

Normal height; Wheel turned all the way right:

FL: clears front wheel well by about 1cm
FR: rubs mud flap

Low height; Wheel turned all the way left:

FL: clears mud flap by about a 1mm
FR: clears front wheel well by about an 1.5cm

Low height; Wheel turned all the way right:

FL: clears front wheel well by about 1cm
FR: rubs mud flap

Picked them up from discount tire, so currently debating returning them for the 275/55R20s (the size they recommended), or deleting the mud flap.

I could not notice a discernible difference in tire noise or ride quality.

Hope this helps. I will upload pics and hope they stay in the order above.

I’m running 275/55/20 KO2 on factory wheels, I only get rubbing occasionally at full lock in reverse.

Thank you for sharing and for choosing Discount Tire, 11lx570!

Another option is to heat up the plastic where the tire rubs with a heat gun and push it inwards. I've also seen guys drill two small holes in the inner fenders, and either wire tie, or zip tie them back.

I went with the heat gun option on the inner portion of the front mud flaps. Happy to report that I haven't had any rubbing at any height, wheel position or in reverse. I did some very easy off-roading, and I didn't hear or see any indication of rubbing while navigating through ruts or uneven ground.

It may be just me, but I'd be more interested in how the truck handles...especially in bad weather and / or off-road.
