Default 2017 LX changes?

hi guys, can anyone tell me about the 2017 LX is any update or litte
change from the 16"? Because i am thinking to trade my GX in for the Lx, but the truck won't be here at the dealership in August and it is almost 2017, my question is should i wait for the 2017" model or get the 2016" now thanks

Minor changes outside and inside. The '17's should be out sometime in the first quarter of next year. Base price around $88K.

I would expect you'd do better selling your GX v. using it as a trade in...you'll get bottom-dollar from the dealer since they may not budge on list for the new truck.

I I were you, I'd find a low mileage '16 next year when the '17's have been out for a month or 2. You'll still get basically the same truck as the '13's forward. You'll definitely save some $$$$.

Thanks for your help, i was thinking selling my GX too, but after i do some math, it is better for me to trade in because i will get the tax from the GX toward to the new truck versus pay the whole tax on the LX.

Do you have any information about the changes for 2017? 2016 LX was redesigned, I would not expect any changes in the next year.

Nothing but rumors...google 2017 Lexus LX and go from there. E.g., this seems to be typical of what's known now >>>http://suvs2017.com/2017-lexus-lx-570/ . Off-topic, that website reads like it was written by somebody with English as a sideline. From what I hear, my guess would be nothing semi-major, like the '16 update, until maybe 2019 or 2020.

That's what I did when I traded....took a KBB trade-in $ for mine, and saved around $4K in taxes

I've heard the 17's should start arriving in October or November should have little to no changes.

Thanks everyone for the info, i am now at the stealership seatle on 16" white with red interior, and they finally agree on $7k off from $977500, i know it is not much like you guy got from the west coast, but at least i get some tax credit from my trade in, that will make it even better, because the west coast dealer don't want to deal with trade in.

For people who are using the LX for business use there are really attractive tax advantages. Section 179 is good for me!

I love section 179, although not as good as it has been in years past like 2010.

For 2017 Lexus will be adding light weight quick-release, removable third row seats, just kidding.

Agreed. I remember it will. It was like slashing $75,000 off your taxable income!

I got a loaner RX Hybrid from Lexus dealer, and I found this new RX has 2 figures that LX 570 does not: 1) Departure line..at freeway speed and cruising, I intentionally took my hands off the steering wheel, the car steers itself within the lane and even on slight curve of the road, however the warning signal was on " hands are off the wheeL". 2) On the windy road, the headlights move to either left or right side depends where the car is going ( Like BMW headlights). For instance, if the car is steered on the right the headlights will follow that direction rather than straight.

So what I am trying to say is.......Will new LX570 2017 have those figures after all it is $100K truck? Is it a software or/and hardware upgrade for the steering? What about LX 570 headlights, hardware and software upgrade?
