Default Problem with the left side mirror.

Hi there, I've accidentally had the left side mirror banged pole column so that it moved to the opposite side. Now it did not stop at its position as it used to be when I pressed the remote to open the car or pressed the switch button in the car to open the side mirrors. Please give me some advice to fix it. Thank you

Probably you have skiped position in the gear there. You will hear clicking noises when you walk up to it and start adjusting it by hand. You can readjust it that way or readjust with the switch and re-save in the memory again when happy with position.

Or you can give Lexus near $1000 to replace the whole assembly.

Thank you for your comments. I did try as per Luke27617's advice but the mirror still went over its position. I think something was broken inside the mirror. I'll try to open it to check it out. Worse comes to worst I have to pay around $1,000 to replace the whole assembly as RXOwner mentioned. Thx again.

Off the topic,

but based on the grammar and linguistics, it seems that 90% of all of the respondents on the LX570 forum, myself including, ain't native English language speakers. What gives?

Maybe the native English speaking respondents do not have as many questions.
