Brand new beauty
just delivered to our doorstep this afternoon. Black on Cabernet red. Primarily the wife's car, but this thing is amazing. Looking forward to many fun road trips.

I removed the stock 21" wheels/tires and replaced with 20" 2015 wheels and BF Goodrich KO2's in the 275/55/20 size. No rubbing on this tire/wheel combo with plenty of space for articulation but my wife did not care for the change in ride quality. Bummer.
Had to swap for Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 275/60/20 - ride quality is slightly better than with the stock 21" wheels with Grandtrek 275/50/21 - definitely better than the BFG KO2's.
Lowering tire pressure to 32 PSI makes for a much nicer ride. This size fills up the wheel well beautifully but not sure yet if there will be any loss of articulation.

My wife had a long day at work the day I got the KO2's & since the tires were set to 37 PSI I figure that is why she expressed her dissatisfaction. Her point being that we specifically bought the LX for it's comfortable ride with the intent to use it >90% of the time, on road. She asked, "Why would we put tires on the car which diminish the ride quality & sound louder 100% of the time, when we may only be off road <10% of the time?"
So having already sold the stock 21" wheels, I switched to the Michelin Defender as a compromise. Not as cool looking as the KO2's but... happy wife = happy life.
For the spare, I purchased an additional 2015 LX wheel and mounted another (33") 275/60/20 Defender LTX. It fits perfectly under the truck without any problems.

Also... I think the 275/55/20 BFG KO2's looked a little too small. The 33" 275/60/20 Defenders look like a better fit on the vehicle so if I had to do it again (with KO2's), I would have gone 275/60/20.

One of the members on mud who is a tire pressure expert said that these tires the LT275 55/20's load range D should be run at 46 psi to have the same load carrying capacity as the OEM 285/50/20's.

2011: I removed the chrome on the lower part on all 4 doors and sandblasted the oem Lexus chrome rims then painted them. I also removed the chrome LX570 on the back gate not pictured. I left the Lexus logo.

I'm looking to remove the chrome on mine as well- did you have any issues with the backing sticking to paint or anything like that?

I did not remove it myself. I was told it was a little tough on the driver's passenger door but all and all it was not bad. It took them about 2 hours to do all 4 doors and the LX570 chrome piece on the lift gate.

Could you post a few more photos of your truck? I am thinking of doing something similar (less chrome, dark wheels). Thanks!
