Took the words right out of my mouth!
All in all, I am pleased with the changes, except for the engine which I believe is overdue for a slight tweak.
Most of the original articles indicated it would be the same engine. However, fairly recently I saw a few references to an "updated" 5.7, and that seemed believable as part of a broader powertrain enhancement, given the addition of the 8-speed tranny. Alas, I guess it wasn't meant to happen now, but given all the updates that bring up the LX to where the competition has been for some time, it's a shame that engine output is unchanged, and fuel economy is only marginally better. They are not fully mailing it in with the LX this year like they have been for a while, but I guess they are holding off until the redesign (assuming they will actually do something to the engine then).
