2016 LX570 arrival date
Anyone have a hard date when they will arrive?

Yes, local dealer in Southern California told me this afternoon that they are getting their first one delivered the week of October 18th. They now have "spec sheets" on the LX vehicles they have been allotted, so they know incoming colors and VIN numbers of individual vehicles. So, now seems to be the time to contact them to get info on what they will have available in a few weeks. What colors/interiors are you considering? Anyone else arranged to buy one in the U.S. yet? Trying to figure out how big of an influx of buyers there will be versus supply.

Lots of 2015 LXs still around
Yes there do seem to be a number of 2015s still on the lot-- many more than usual. From conversations I've had the dealers are trying to get close to MSRP for the 2016s coming in. Will be interesting to see how pricing shakes out. It has never been a high-volume car. I don't know how many 2016's they are sending out from Japan either. Anyone care to share their pricing experiences so far? I may just wait a few months.

I do know there are quite a few 2015 Toyota Land Cruisers on dealers lots also. They have MSRP of about $81K for 2015 LC vs $92-$93K for the 2015 LX.
Having had three Land Cruisers I am very comfortable with a LC ...particularly if the 2015 pricing approaches the very low $70K range as the 2016s come in.
Thanks...TomMartin

Is there a reason clublexus hasn't created a 4th gen forum for the 2016 LX? Or is this only considered a refresh of the 3rd gen? I had the pleasure of sitting in one at the Concours D'elegance this year at Pebble Beach. I would say there are many elements that make it feel like a 4th gen car with a few bits that hint toward the 3rd gen still.

My main interest is the updated telematics!
My 2015 share much of the electronics that my 2008 LX had.
This update is long overdue but I know Lexus does not change things often.

Any "feel" for 2015 pricing at this point? Any recent purchases or shopping experience.

recently purchased a 2014 LC for $69,000
my sales guy with Lexus quoted me $81,000 for a fully loaded Lx570
so it was a no brainer, and I like the exclusivity of the LC
fewer owners here in my area..more LX owner though

Tom, I've seen a number of Texas 2015s listed on dealer sites, AutoTrader and Cars.com in the mid-70s, and a few at $72K, so I'd just keep looking. Unless Toyota throws some money to the dealers in December, I doubt you'll see listings below $71K with the Gulf Coast Toyota distributor add-ons, but you only need to find one dealer that really wants to move a truck.
