Both my LX570 and Range Rover side by side. The Range Rover handles like a car, is just as capable off road, the interior has leather dash and trims, huge brembo brakes, 510hp supercharged. The price is just a bit over the LX570.

You do get more performance from that Rover but you get the longevity out of the LX. I had the TRD Supercharger on my Tundra along with a smaller Supercharger Pulley, Tune and exhaust. It moved out very well. Sad that TRD is stopping production of their superchargers.

My 2015 LX will be traded for the 2016 LX this fall.

congrats.

On the flip side, the current LXs i am sure will have big drops in price
Also, 2019 apparently will be a whole new LX. I imagine that will likely be a turbo v6 or v8 powertrain

Given this post, and looking for a newer LC or LX, I decided to check out Range Rovers...

Beautiful trucks, comfortable interiors, and great handling after a test drive on a scary curvy highway.

Contrast that with lower resale values year for year, not to mention overall reliability v. Toyota products. Since I tend to keep vehicles v. getting a new car every year or 2, I came back to reality and continue the quest for an LC or LX.

I'd opine that a V6, blown or not, is not what I want in a truck approaching 3 tons empty.

There still is NO substitute for cubic inches.
