I have never seen teh red Spinel Mica.
My first LX was the nebula but the last three were Black as my mother in-laws love!
Love the grey leather in my current one. I would think the red is the rarest.

How many colors does Lexus offer for,the LX. Seems I remember a blue. The only LX colors I have seen in real life is the Nebula grey, black and white.

I have owned an 09 & 11 LX in Noble Spinel Mica. Currently have a Mercury Metallic (Silver) 13 LX and there is not any shade of Red available in a 15. You are correct -- don't see many in Noble Spinel Mica!

Of the original colors, blue was arguably the rarest, as it wasn't the most flattering - shall we say - shade of blue, and it was a special-order-only color. They phased it out either in MY2011 or '13 (think it was last produced for 2010).
In the earlier model years, Lexus seemed to be making most colors. However, when we bought ours in 2010, black, white and silver was it in terms of regular production (at least for the east coast), and Noble Spinel, Nebula, blue, and the champagne color (can't remember the name at the moment) were special-order. There were, however, some Noble Spinels here and there (love that color, personally).
Noble Spinel was replaced by Claret Red Mica (MY2013, I think), same red as on the GX460, and phased out for 2015, as sidgriggs points out. Nebula seems to have made a bit of a "reappearance" in recent years (post spindle-grille refresh), if you will, and replaced silver in the more "common" colors. Basically, I now see black, white and Nebula (in lieu of silver) in inventory, for the most part (though I do see some silvers).
Nebula is a beautiful color, and if I were buying today, I would probably pick it or Starfire Pearl.
