I wanted to throw the offer out to provide advice from my experience if anyone is looking to do the same thing. With the car being new, I found it near impossible to find wiring diagrams that clearly laid things out to make the process easy. I have not had a chance to post pictures or map my process out step by step but if it will be useful, I can make sure to do so. I bought one JL Audio W7 12* and am powering it with the HD 1200/1 JL mono amplifier. I did not replace the factory amp or sub but am using them in addition to the OEM system. I have the preamp inputs tapped into the rear door woofers, turned off the DSP and opted to connect my remote wire to the 12v cigarette lighter in the front console. Crutchfield provided me with some useful info and the rest I figured out as I went along...after numerous attempts. If anyone else has done something similar, I would be interested to hear about your experience to verify I am getting the most out of my current setup.
