Having just picked up my 2014 LX570 last week, I could not agree more. It is my 4th LX or is it the 5th. No matter, I knew I made "another" good choice!

I think the spindle grille works so much better on the LX than on the GX, much more smoother and flows well with the body. Very elegant and classy.
On the GX it looks forced, it feels like the rest of the body does not match the front.

Looks real bad on the GX, OK on the LX actually like it on the LS and ES. But that's all JMHO. I've found with newer car designs they tend to grow on you over time.

yes, fully agreed. it flows so well on the LX making it look more muscular and complete. on the gx, the car is a bit too narrow for it and it looks very odd
