so ive seen 2 people here, both in NJ, get there LXs stolen. very troubling.
would putting a wheel boot like the one below help?

Might deter a casual thief, but it is just like anything else, if a professional wants your car he will get your car.

If they want it that bad they will take it by any means! Lets hope not by gun point!

I'm guessing they end up in a container and shipped overseas or a crooked body shop for parts!

You got insurance, don't sweat the small stuff it can be replaced, you can't!

Makes me realize how lucky i am to have a garage to keep my toys. Many do not and their baby is out a curbside.

Don't these things have Lexus telematics, something like on-star? If they are running and I'm not well versed if they even have to be running. Perhaps just power to the black box so to speak.

Can they show up on a radar screen somewhere if this equipment is able to pick up it's location?

Your garage is not safe either. Anyone see how quickly they can open your garage if you have a garage door opener and who doesn't these days?

For my experiences steal in public place is easier now to some people because they know when police and people movement in the area and nobody can ask them what they are doing here? maybe what are doing could be asked.
In your house garage or covered parking two question is asked what are you doing and why you here. during robbers any sound will stop everything and they run away!!!
The best thing don't leave car keys in the car and stop in covered place which covered with CCTV.
Buy CCTV will cost 2000$ but will you feel safer.
