Default Which year is the best bang for the buck

I am in the market for a pre-owned 570 and would like to know the changes made over the years. Is there a list available somewhere here. I am also wondering which year will be the best bang for the buck based on the driving experience and changes made to the model. Any model year to avoid.

Thanks.

Check out Edmunds.com's research on used cars. They tell you any changes from the previous year. 2010 was the first year with the integrated ipod through the USB port. That would be important to me. Good luck.

If you're looking for a pre-owned LX, I would have to recommend a 2010. They have most of the basic features included on the 2011 and 2012 models but since it's a few years older, you're likely to get a better deal. Anything 2009 and older isn't going to be as compatible with a smart phone (assuming you have one) and the technology just won't be as impressive. 2010-2012 LX's are pretty much the same with minor exceptions. Most Lexus dealerships are more than happy to give you CarFax vehicle history reports on any certified pre-owned vehicle. You're also guaranteed an excellent warranty and regular maintenance to keep the vehicle running excellently for years to come. I hope this helps!

There is not a 2012 LX. Lexus skipped that model year!

SORT of makes sense, but your iPhone can plug in to the aux port just as easily in an '09 or '08 and have the same funtionality (You just can't FF and RW songs via the steering wheel). Not a biggie. Other than that the technology is pretty similar. The newest models offer playback through the bluetooth interface. The '13 has Pandora, etc, I believe?

I'd say make sure you get the car you want, with the right options/colors, at the right price. They are all very similar with minor changes.

Not really sure if "bang for the buckl" and LX570 should be used together. The LX is a very special vehicle for a unique buyer, its no 4Runner or RX.

I believe 1st year model year had a lower end option with 18" wheels, no ha drive, no heater rear seats and stuff like that, so if you are looking to save some money, then that would be the model option to get.

I would worry less about what year and more about each individual deal. How good of a deal you got on a pre owned is way more important unless you just HAVE to have some option. I am on my 3rd LX and they we are so similar.

I would totally recommend the 2009 model as you will get all the option as default unlike in the 2008 and going for > 2010 will just bump up the price for too much. Anyway this is just what it is right here in Canada, hope it helps.
