Default Seat wear

We have a 2014 LX with 35k miles that had some wear marks on both front seats due in ingress/egress most likely. It's not real bad and at first I thought it was soiled around the stitching but now realize the color had worn off on the leather. I first noticed the early wear marks at 17k miles. The dealer is not aware of it at this point ( 2 1/2 hrs from a dealer).

Just wondered if anyone knows id this could be dealt with under warrant

Tia,
Dave

Any way to post a picture.

Lexus will tell you that some wear is to be expected at 35k miles.

What color seats are they?

thanks Greg,
the seats are the cashmere color. I took it by Butler Lexus in Macon as we were returning from that area to Valdosta. They said it would not fly with the warranty. No big deal as I have had seats redone before and it looks good for a while anyway. We'll get the seats done soon a long with a few other things as the folks will actually come by the house if you have a few items.

thanks for your response,
Dave
