Bought me a 2011 LX 570, now i have two questions
so, i went and took the plunge and got me a 2011 LX 570, Onyx black with black leather interior.
The car had fewer than 50 miles on it when i took delivery from the dealer, as i drove it home from the dealer i noticed two things, please let me know your thoughts:
1. When i accelerate i can hear a faint tickling (rattling) notice from the engine, coming from the area behind the steering wheel (it sounds like some belt or something in the engine). when the car is idling it goes away, but when i press the accelerator it comes back and remains for as long as i am accelerating. It is a faint noise, i cannot hear it with the audio system on. What is this? Is it normal?
2. When i park the car after driving, as i get out i can smell a "burning" smell (like oil and/or chemicals burning smell).
Let me know your thoughts

DO not know about the ticking sound, I do not have on my 2010. I would talk to the dealer at your first oil change!
As far as the burning smell, it is OK. This is to be expected with ANY new vehicle. Just the VOCs being emitted from a lot of the sealants, etc. It will go away in a few hundred miles.

I hope you enjoy your new LX. This is my 2nd and I wish I had never sold the first one. The LX is fantastic for those longer highway trips!

Thanks I definitely am enjoying this car. I traded-in my 2008 X5, so i am slowly getting used to the different driving experience, but as to the luxury, quietness, and comfort, that, i got used to in no-time
