That really sucks, but your car seems to have destroyed that corolla haha. This is one reason itry to never park on the street, and if do, there will be a good amount of crs behind me so if something like this occurs, it wont be my car they hit. Good luck with getting it fixed

Yikes.

Blame the accelerator pedal in the corolla...

Too soon?

Painful to look at; sorry to see this happened to you. Fortunately, it looks like stuff that a good body shop should sort out fairly easily. Good luck!

I think the Black Oynx paint should be easy to match.

It is a painful view. My eyes are hurt; and I feel your pain. Insurance will take care of you. Sorry.

Painful to see, If it's any consolation both bumper and lower trunk door are replaceable.
It should be quick and easy job. don't worry insurance will take care of it.

Any idea what the perpetrator was doing - not paying attention due to texting, talking on the phone, etc.?

Hopefully it was not a health-related issue, and nobody was hurt.

This is still painful to look at. Your LX is always so clean.

...2 months later...we finally got it back. It was worth the wait. The dealer did a fine job on the repair. My wife didn't know we were getting it back today. It's her daily driver so I put a bow on it and surprised her. Great Christmas present!

Excellent news, congratulations! Any pictures of the finished product (preferably with the bow on it)?!
