Default Supercharging a LX570

I remember this came up a couple of times in threads but at the time nobody knew of anything available or had done it. Just checking in again ... does anyone know if there is a TRD supercharge kit for the LX570? Has anyone supercharged their LX570 and if so can you give us details?

Thanks,
Jason

Unfortunately I'm not sure that is much of an interest among current and future LX570 owners...I would jump on the opportunity but this is what I received from TRD when inquiring:

"Thank you for your interest in TRD. At the moment, TRD has no plans to offer a supercharger kit for the 2009 Lexus LX570. But feel free to contact us in the near future for product updates. "

Doesn't provide much information considering all of the questions that I posed in my email to them....seems like email/customer service is not a priority....

Give it some time with aftermarket modifications. I worry with the economy how much stuff is actually going to come out and be available. What I would more likely see is someone possibly rigging up a turbo kit or something else. I have seen a few custom turbo jobs come out over the years for the LX and Landcruiser, particularly out of the Middle East.

LL,

Well, there is definitely some interest since you and I both would jump on it if it were available!

Can you tell me where you e-mailed or submitted a web form, I'd like to do the same - the more of us they hear from the better I would think/hope.

Regards,
Jason

Count me in if it works! I'd love to roll up on a Cayenne Turbo and smoke them with the Lexus Beast.

MHP recently tuned a supercharged LX570, not sure if it's a member on here though. Guess if it was they would have come forward already. Perhaps Andy/MHP can chime in on the details.

what would be the power/weight ratio if you SC'd the LX570? I'd be cautious what you'd expect out of adding additional 150hp if the car is too heavy. I had that problem with my Kleemann ML SC"d it has 580hp but is only as fast as new ML63. Although it is fun to have a car that is faster than the stock versions when it's put up to par with cars it's supposed to perform against it still sometimes falls short.

Cayenne weighs 5724 lbs and Lexus LX570 weighs 5995, so its pretty darn close.

The only thing, though, is whether they have the 4.7L or 5.7L V8 in Dubai for the LC200.

No, I looked at it carefully, and it is a supercharger for the 5.7L V8.
Boy, I love talking to myself!

Does anyone know if ASI used a supercharger on the Lexus LX 570 Invader to achieve 592hp?
