There is a thread on this in this Forum. It was decided it was too difficult to consider. They do not remove unless you are willing to do some heavy tool use.

There is an owner over at www.ih8mud.com that removed his Land Cruiser third row but ended up damaging his rear wheel plastic, wheel well with scratches. He posted some pics and a how to if I remember.I think his name is dt200 so you can do a search? likely you seats are power and his are not so that might have something to do with it

Good luck!

I found the thread. I think it is a little easier than I first thought.

I bet the person who said he was going to post images changed his mind when he looked carefully. I went out with all the intentions of taking out my seats on my first LX570 in 2008 and after looking I decided it would not be worth the effort. Even if you got the seats out, what is left in the floor will get in the way of any additional cargo.

I took them out of my Land Cruiser (LC 200) and it was very easy and also simple to reinstall.

Just snap plastic off and remove bolts. But LC has no hydraulic arm. Have not tried on LX.

I have looked quite carefully and "very easy and also simple" just does not apply.

But that is me and everyone is different!

I removed the left (driver's) side 3rd row in approx 15mins using a few basic hand tools. It might take me 30mins if I ever want to put it back in. Likely not a project that you want to tackle too often but if like me you value space over seating then go for it!

Why not share the details on how you did it? Since you seem to be the only one that have actually done it.

Thank you

If you follow few easy steps, it’s simple to remove. All the tools you need is 14 mm socket and ratchet. I have the order down and took bunch pictures. I might even make a vid. Will post the pictures and steps this weekend. If you follow the steps, it will take approximately 10 minutes at the most on your first try and about 5 minute thee after. To put the seats back in, it might take few minutes longer at most.

I took my LX 570 to Chantilly Repair Center today and had the owner show me how to do this. Took him less than 5 minutes. Omar is a great guy to deal with.
