you should wrap it in clear bra film, it reallllllly does help protect from scratchs and small cuts. If it gets scuffed, you peel it off and replace it with another one, 50-100 bucks.

The guy at the show was saying, previous LX owners wanted an easier third row so "instead of making it removeable, we made it fold up out of the way". So did the 2LX, why does the 3LX have to be permenant? Why cant you just make it fold up and lock better then the current setup, and still removeable? deet de deeee

If it was that easy... it is not the chips, it is large scratches and dents from larger rocks, logs, deep ditches when you don't have enough approach angle and what not.

You do get damage from these things, so every bit of protection helps. And making things too fragile cosmetically is going to hurt, trust me.

Loud, is it as it appears, NO BODYSIDE PROTECTION???? Just bare sheet metal that every mom with a kid is going to bang/dent up the side of your LX570 in the parking lot?

Is the RSES 9 inch screen like the LS? Is it power fold? And did they move the location of the dvd changer from the current location in the third row? That is a pain.....

Seen here, the guy is folding the 3rd row using the stupid power switchs. This truck was truely built for people super super lazy. 3rd row should have stayed removeable.

i expected to see the whole under part of the LX to be protected oh well

Anyone knows the price range for LX570?
Would it be over $75k?

Probably going to start at $70k. With the options I wouldnt be surprised if it goes near $85k

I think it would probably start at 75k coz the current LX is already about 68k. LS430 was about 57k & LS460 starts at 61k. So there is 4k difference. I see there would be at least 5 k difference coz it is 570 vs 470.

Kind of sucks, one of the things I liked about the LX470, cladding protected the vehicle. It also makes it look classy.

I disagree. The LX's market space is much more competitive than it was when the 470 came out. If Lexus wants to sell alot of units of the 570, I'd suggest that they keep the price unchanged from 2007, despite the new features.
