Need more info
We are on our 2nd RX (2021) and love it.
I also own a 2007 SC430
Thinking about a future SUV (wife wanted the kick feature for tailgate of RX-cant have it and tow package-now she hates and never uses the kick feature)
I want to tow a camper-guessing up to 5,000 pounds but likely less. I'm having issues finding reliability data on the 570 don't see any stickies here on buying a used 570. (thinking about a 2017 or so)
Info and resource help is gratefully accepted.

My current LX570 and its predecessor LX470 both have been very dependable tow vehicles for my 2 horse trailers. Pre-Covid both towed twice a week. After all, the LX, under its body panels, is basically a Toyota Tundra truck. Hooking ia trailer to an LX is a bit wonky because of the AHC leveling system - what with lowering the LX, turning the AHC off, lining up, and then raising the hitch up under the trailer tongue. But it becomes second nature after a few times. Once hooked up ithe LX pulls a 6500 pound trailer more smoothly than my 2500HD GMC.
Go for it.
I'm seeing '21-22 are less than 80k for 30-50k miles on it. And some are over $90k for low mileage(<10k miles). I think if you're looking at something that's over $90k, just find a new one and buy that.
I think some '21 should have some warranty left. If not, either buy extended warranty or go with certified used.

21 and 22 LX are two completely different vehicles. 21 is the last year of the V8. 22 is the beginning of engine failures with the new TTv6. If getting a 22 (style), I'd wait until 2026, after the release the new (updated) engine.
We have a 2019 LX 570 and a 2019 Land Cruiser. Mechanically identical except the LC doesnt have AHC. We tow our boat tegularly. We can also tow with the LX. I researched Yoitube and towing with the LX is no issue. I would get a 200 series LC or LX without hesitation. Beautiful 5.7 V8s and well built. See the Car Care Nut in YT in the 200 serirs side by side comparison and another video on their construction and reliability.
I have 2017 that I purchased new with 200k now. I use it 3-4 times a year to tow my camper… no issues.
Only thing to keep in mind.. the LX is wired ready but there is no physical brake control installed. I purchased online and was easy for local car audio guys to install.
