Lx 570 exterior color.
I know I am going to get blasted for this but I am going to ask it anyways. I just purchased a used 2018 Lx 570 L certified. I did my homework as much as I could, spent alot of time on the phone with the dealer asking very detailed questions, reading the Carfax, and studying the pictures. So far everything checks out perfect for me, and I am OCD. The maintenance records thru lexus are immaculate and the vehicle looks brand new, literally. 31,000 miles and L certified. It basically checks all the boxes = $ 68,000.00 which includes $ 1600.00 for shipping.
The only thing I am still debating is the color. I have studied the pictures and the atomic silver looks good in pictures, but sometimes pictures and in person can be 2 different things. I have never been a fan of silver vehicles = BORING, but the atomic silver on the LX does not look bad in pictures.
Can any of the forum members give me their opinions on what the atomic silver looks like on the LX in person. I have actually seen the LX in every other color in person, except Atomic silver.
Thanks.

Wife's silver LX slows less dirt than what's called Midnight Magnetic Gray on my Land Cruiser.
I've got a '17 in atomic silver. It suits the LX nicely. I recently had it ceramic coated and it has a nice shine but ultimately it's silver so never as bright as a deep metallic. It doesn't show the dirt too badly. I had my pick of any colour and went for atomic silver, if that counts for anything? I made a point of getting the cabernet interior, which serves as a nice contract against the silver. I'm sure you will be happy.

I got mine ceramic coated more for UV protection and ease of maintenance than looks. My LX can get pretty dirty and muddy after being driven around our farm and a quick hand wash or rinse makes it shine and feel as smooth as when it was first coated. The paint after ceramic coating looks better than the day it was new, so it's been worth it for me.

How is your 2018 LX treating you ? Any problems, issues, or regrets ? Do you feel like you are losing out on all the updated tech that is out there on new vehicles, but not on the LX.

I have a 16" atomic silver. The silver is not really silver like the German silvers. Looks more like a dark dirty metallic beige. The car has curves and it looks better in picture than in person. The German silvers are better looking in person in my opinion. I have silver gray and glacier silver BMW. But the cabernet interior is hard to bet for the LX especially when black and the other 'lighter' color interiors are so common in Lexus.

If you live near a dealer or car lots, go look for a Lexus in that color. Doesn't have to be an LX. My GS350 was Atomic Silver. It almost has a goldish tint to it. Very different than the bright silver on my LX.
You can ask for all of the opinions you want, but none of them should matter. It should be a color you like, not one someone else likes. You are the one driving it.
Hopefully you pulled the trigger on your LX long time ago... I'm new to LX and going over the LX threads... I recently traded Atomic Silver GX460 for Atomic Silver LX570...one of the best colors IMHO in terms of hiding dust and dirt...it's unlike any other "silvers" out there. If you think it looks good in the pictures - it will look better in person and yes - those who love traditional silvers may be put off by it, but for those that aren't crazy about the same silver hues on so many makes and models Atomic silver might be much more attractive.
