I know this is an old thread but I wanted to confirm it IS possible to add the wireless charger after the fact. It is a port-installed option. The charger is expensive! The part number is above, 861C0-60051. I bought it from Dan over at Bell Lexus of Scottsdale. They are incredibly supportive.
That being said, you will have to remove most of the trim in the dash, completely remove the radio, and remove the tray and storage compartment itself. From there it's 3 small Phillips screws on the back to remove the "dummy" plastic tray and replace it with the bigger charging unit.
The cabling is obvious, there's a taped-off connector in the back, and it will only fit the charging tray.
The unit does NOT fit anything larger than a modern iPhone 6.1 inch phone, my 11 Pro Max does NOT fit and does not charge no matter which way you try to Jam it in there. AirPods cases will charge. I used the fact that I had the whole dash open to install the NAVIKs aftermarket CarPlay unit, I'm mostly happy with it, the only real problem I currently have is Left/Right control but otherwise it does what I want it to do.
Should you do this? Probably not. I bought a used LX that had every conceivable option for the US market including the glass breakage sensor save for the charger, so I wanted that out of "sheer F hubris."
Is it practical? No. I use an anker power wave MagSafe charger clipped to the vents to hold the phone, and I snaked USB-C cables to the fuse box behind the plastics to power the MagSafe chargers.
The other thing learned from the experience is that there are a LOT of unused connectors in the US market LX. I wonder if it's because they re-use the wiring harness or if there are just even more options available overseas. Everything you will need to remove. I kept the connections on the center console, just balanced it on a towel to not tear up the seats. The taped off connector The tray and "dummy" The storage compartment prior to the charger replacement.
