Sport mode
Update: I've now owned my 2015 LX for 6 weeks and decided that I truly love it. I'm no longer missing my LX 470 at all. I have no regrets about choosing another LX over the RR. After some experimentation, I'm finding that I prefer to almost always keep it in Sport mode for the stiffer suspension and responsiveness in handling. For the majority of street driving, I feel the minor turbulence of the roads just as much in Comfort mode.
I'm guessing a majority of LX owners keep it in Normal or Comfort most of the time but just curious if anyone else here prefers Sport mode.

ECT is actually better for the transmission less Slippage. I’m running 285/55/20 AT/KO2’s 56 lb tire so much heavier tire D rated truck tire. So i’ve been running in comfort mode around town I’ll do sport mode when I’m going over 70 on the freeway (controls the big heavy tires better). Whenever I put it in ECT I get worse gas mileage by a couple miles per gallon and it seems to kind of jump off the line. Plus I drive like an old man because I am an old man. I’ve had my Porsches, Aston Martin’s and AMG Mercedes I’m happy with the LX 570 and now i’m going slow and more deliberate.

No added risk, as ECT and 2nd-Start were, obviously, designed into the transmission.
Off topic a bit...Be aware that "lifetime" fluids do not exist...specifically for the transmission. If you goal is minimizing transmission wear, best I could say is change the fluid every 30K or 2 years, whichever comes first.
I normally do not track mileage.
