Here is how I modified the dust caps on my LX:

Thanks for sharing. That is one piece of precision work. I probably will modify mine based on your solution.

Below is how I solved the problem and improved my high beam and turn signal lights.

I pulled out my stock bulbs and put in LED's into the running boards and now they don't work at all. Even when I put the stock bulbs back in. Puddle lights work fine as does everything else. Checked fuses 40 and 54 they are good too, thoughts?

You may want to check the LED bulb polarity. Depends on what kind of LED bulb you got, some of them do. Just turn the build 180 degree and put back in again to see if works.

Or put a voltmeter across the terminals that feed the LED's and make sure you see around 12-13 volts.

I have a volt meter, never used it lol, I guess I will have to figure it out. I might just replace fuse 54 even though it looks good and see if that helps.

GS and LX570, you must have a tough life choosing which car to drive every morning.
Haha yes...quite nice. Just not nice when you have to share with the wife.... Just kidding So I ordered the lights, amphibia...and I also ordered led reverse lights which I installed last night 😁. (Which look amazing , by the way) But I’m having some trouble installing all the other led lights in the interior of the truck. Is there any way you can guide me on how to replace those? Also, I saw the graph you sent me with all of the other lights that are compatible with the same code bulb, but can the t10 fit on the puddle lights on the side mirrors? Thank you and I will greatly appreciate a reply back on how to change these lights.

Got ya, pizdets17. But do you by any chance know how to replace those? I’m trying to get under the side mirror and get the plastic off. But there doesn’t seem to be an opening for me to pry it out...? Thank you,Huss

Yep. put the mirror in the highest position it will go by using your power mirror switch. Gently reach and great under the mirror and pull up. You will hear a "snap" when the metal claps detach, put mirror to the side and you will see the bulb under it

Yes move all the way up and then gently lift underneath it until it comes off.
