Default Dash icion blikcing

I have a Lexus LX 570 that when I turn I get 4lo Blink, Track Off Solid, Check Engine Solid lights. I have lost the gear indication icon on the dash.
How can the gear indication on the dash and the lights to turn off? Is there a sequence of buttons to push... please help

Twice in 125,000 miles my center differential lock light has started blinking for no apparent reason. Scares me, especially out on the highway, but shutting down and restarting has always extinguished the warning light. I have no idea the cause and haven't even bothered to have service folks look into it. I am sure I would just get the "could not duplicate" answer and be charged $100 for my effort.

I had the same issue a month or so ago. I posted this in the 200 series forum on mud... https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/bli...-light.996431/ .

The issue has been brought up on mud in the past. General consensus is to exercise the 4wd system including low range regularly. You'll need at least a gravel road.

As I posted there, I've got a half mile gravel road on my southern property line used for access to the irrigation system. No issues since exercising the system. All electrical connections to the trans case looked good when I changed the fluid 2 months ago.

OP, I need to add that only my diff lock light came on, so my issue may have been different than yours.

Seems like a common issue with off road Toyota/Lexus truck based SUVs. As hankinid stated above, you should use the 4 lo system regularly. Main issue is the 4lo actuator can get stuck if it's not disengaged/engaged. Very expensive fix if it fails and needs replacement (ie. $4k on the 4Runner)

Prior to getting my LX, I was seriously looking at the 4Runner. There's a monthly thread on the 4R where it reminds users to engage the 4lo system once a month. I don't have any useful gravel/rock/mud in my neighborhood, so I all do is once a week engage the 4lo system and drive around the cul de sac in circle a few times. My neighbors probably think I'm crazy.

Prior to buying a used LX, it's a good idea to test to make sure the 4lo system work properly....

Use low range periodically when needing to go slow. Guess I need to go slow more often!

...and I'd add to check Crawl and Turn Assist functions while you're doing it.
