Maryland (and some other states) has the emissions tax scam, so that wouldn't fly here. They make you wait in line with engines idling to see if your nitrous oxides are 20% over the allowable limit, then charge you for the privilege in the name of the environment. Meanwhile, heavy trucks and buses can spew clouds of black smoke and it's A OK.

 

Although that kustom, catalytic converter free exhaust LX isn't doing so well with its nitrous oxides!
